And I am starting to play more in that space. But I suspect that the majority of Notes shops are not yet running 8.5.x (I do not know), and I know of several running R7, R6, and even older. Even for shops running 8.5.2, if they've been in operation for several years, there can be thousands of apps that are very successfully running 'classic' Domino apps.

SO:
- there will continue to be a number of shops that cannot yet run XPages and will be successful continuing with classic Domino sites
- there exists a number of shops that do have the ability to run XPages, but might not find it cost effective to convert all existing apps.

Personally, I do get questions regularly from folks doing classic Domino development, so I know it's not yet an all-XPages Domino world :)

Comment From Curt Stone

Curious as to the relevance this book has with XPages now being the standard for web design.
